In the Army National Guard, you will learn what you need to know to supervise advanced level Multi-channel Transmission Systems operations while assisting team members install, repair, operate, and maintain multi-channel transmission diagnostic equipment, devices and antennae. As an Army National Guard Multi-channel Transmission Systems Operator, you will learn these valuable job skills while getting up to a $20,000 enlistment bonus, earning a regular paycheck, and qualifying for tuition assistance. Instead of paying to learn these skills, get paid to learn.

After Basic Training, where you will learn fundamental Soldiering skills, you will attend 18 weeks of Advanced Individual Training that will include a combination of hands-on and classroom training with multi-channel transmitters and associated equipment.

Requirements

Helpful attributes include an interest in working with radios, fiber optics, and transmission equipment, an ability to apply electronic principles and concepts, and a general understanding of math and physics. You must meet the following requirements to qualify for service:

•                    High School Diploma or GED (If you do not have a diploma or GED, you may still apply - ask a recruiter about how the Army National Guard can help you earn your GED.)

•                    Must be between the ages of 17 and 42

•                    Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
